The Counselors

In this immersion trip we’ve had four American counselors (Bobby, Jonathon, Tim, William) and one Irish counselor (Louise). Since this camp’s theme is Celtic we asked Louise some questions:

-Give us a common Irish sport
Hurling and Gaelic football

-What do you usually eat at festivals?
Guinness and potatoes

-Do you learn any languages in school?
Irish, French, Japanese

-Can you give us an Irish festival?
Oireachtas na gaeilge

Then, to compare cultures we asked one of our American counselors (Liam):

-Give us a common American sport
Baseball

-What do you usually eat at festivals?
Corndogs

-What do children play in America?
Sports and playground games

-Do you learn any language in school?
Spanish, French

-Can you give us an American festival?
The Minnesota State Festival

I HOPE YOU LIKED IT!
